SCOPE AND APPLICATION OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY: This privacy policy applies to the mobile application English Talk app that is currently available in google play store. So when you use that mobile application, you agree with this privacy policy. You agree with the Terms of Service in order to use English Talk.
Please also note that this Privacy Policy does not apply to Information collected: (i) by third party services (including google in app billing) that you may use via English Talk; or (ii) by other organizations who advertise their services on English Talk.TIME TO TIME REVISE OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY: We may revise or change policies and terms over time. These instructions, policies, and terms form part of this Policy. If we need any reasonable changes we will notify you through English Talk using a broadcast message. Also, we will update information in our website.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT FROM YOU:
In English Talk, we collect two kinds of information from you. Personal information which is provided by you and non-Personal information which
we collect from your system using android APIS. When you install this application you provide us the permission to collect non-personal information.
"Personal Information": When you install this app and run, we ask for your "date of birth" and "gender". According to this policy, you agree that you will provide this information.
"Non-personal information:" When you install this application you agree that we can access your microphone and network information. To run this software we collect your private and public IP address. We also collect your advertisement ID from your device for Add-serving purpose.
HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION: We saved your personal information only on your device. We don't save any of this information in our server or database. Based on your personal information we customize messages that are sent to our server. We exchange your non-personal information(your IP) using a signaling server with the remote peer whom you are going to connect. Your non-personal information is saved within the application. Human user can't see your non-personal information in the application UI. Your Advertisement ID is shared with Ad-Serving Companies so that they can serve advertisement in your device.
"VOICE CALL POLICY": This application allows you to talk to a stranger. You will be talking to a stranger, not any customer care representative. If anyone claims to be our customer care representative and ask your private information, we request you not to share any information. In the conversation, if you are harrased by someone, English Talk wont be responsible. You can share your private information with a stranger through voice call. English Talk will not be responsible if any person misuses the information shared by you. We dont keep any record of the conversation. So, you agree that you wont ask any record of your conversation in future. We dont keep any records or logs of your conversations. If, you are harrased by your speaking partner, English Talk wont be able to provide any details of the conversation to you or any other organizations. You also agree that you wont trust any information provided by your speaking partner via voice conversation or any other way. Your speaking partner may lie or use the app for prank or fun.
IN-APP-PURCHASE and FEATURE POLICY: Our application provides few in-app purchases(subscription). One of the subscriptions is "Talk only Opposite Gender". In recent update this subsribtion is withdrawn. New users cant enjoy this IAP feature. Only already subscribed users of this feature can enjoy the feature in new update also. You agree that you can enjoy this feature only if you register as male in the application. Before installing this app, you agree that you will have no complain on this feature. When you subscribe for this feature you agree that your call will be connected to a person of your oppsite gender based on the availability. You also agree that sometimes, mentioned features may not work properly. There is an option named "Report against Last Caller". This option might not work properly due to server related problem.
FUTURE USE OF YOUR INFORMATION: In future, we may use your information to match you with a better speaking partner.We may provide you customized advertisements based on the information provided by you. You agree that in future we can use your personal information for those purposes.
INFORMATION ASKED for RECRUITMENT PURPOSE: English Talk may post job circulars in the app for third-party recruiters. If you want to apply for the job, you will be asked to provide your Name, Email, Phone no and some questionnaires via English Talk. English Talk will only forward your information to third-party recruiters. Job recruiters may check your information for recruitment purposes. English Talk has no responsibility if there is any issue or confrontation (salary, recruitment process) between the applicants and recruiters. Applicants must apply for those jobs on their own responsibility.
SHARING YOUR INFORMATION: You agree that we can share your information with government organizations or any law enforcement agencies as per the law of your country.
UPDATE and DELETE of INFORMATION: You agree that you can't update your information once you register your information. But your information will be deleted once you uninstall this app. We don't keep any of your information to our server or database. All provided information are stored only in your device.
SERVICE RELATED ANNOUNCEMENTS: You agree to receive service-related announcements in this application. We may send messages to you in this software.
USE OF THIRD PARTY APPS FROM USER DEVICE: If English talk requires to initiate any particular services (For example messaging , showing a PDF, opening a Doc, Displaying Live score, displaying any other content), it may open the service using the appropriate third party apps that is installed in the user device. So, user should agree on the policy that English Talk can open other apps that is installed in the user device.
READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: In English Talk App you can select your own ringtone/dialtone from the music list of your external storage. For this feature , you need to allow the app to read your external storage.
